Its a standalone pump between two regular pumps, the entire pump and both hand pieces say E85. I would be pretty upset if one side was only E10 and not marked.

I will have another look tomorrow when I fill up.

Is it going to be possible for me to get a mafless tune with rotational idle, and anti-lag/launch control on switch with a standard v7 sti ecu?

Are there any sonsors etc i should look at replacing? Map sensor? Boost solenoid will be replaced with a grimspeed 3 port probably. Sooo close now...

Not at STM. Fairly sure they don't do MAFless reflashes - worth asking though I guess.

If you're MAFless and going over ~20psi you'll want a 3-bar GM map sensor and an IAT sensor, grab them off a Comode at Pickapart.

From a commodore? Will one of them just plug in? any point going over 20psi with just a vf30? Will contact phil again soon, and do some more research in the meantime

Yes I use carberry rom to go mafless. It takes a while to tune but you get all motorsport options as well. On factory car wouldn't change map sensor but you will need a air temp sensor after the intercooler

Hi guys, I've read through the first couple & last couple pages but not the whole thread so sorry if this has been asked before!

Where is the best place do get a stage 1 tune? I got a EJ203 Subaru Legacy imported from Japan and it's pinging. A mechanic at work said its due to japan using higher octane gas then here but I still get it even with 98

I've changed the sparkplugs & done a full service so I think its ready to go!

Hrm an EJ203 shouldn't knock on 98. In fact they should be ok-ish on 95.

Maybe AFM or O2 sensor playing up.

We replaced the oil, chucked a new air filter in & the spark plugs were iridium NGK ones. so it might need a new AFM as well?

Cost vs result it's probably tuning it yourself.

It costs nothing (once you have the gear, or borrow it) and the result is somewhere between perfectly fine and a melted motor.

That started well and ended horribly.

Kiwi fozze on here understands the whole reflash thing and seems happy enough to pass on knowledge hit him up at the next auck meet.

It's fundamentally not an awesome question, if we're honest.

For example, if I did tunes for $20 and 80% of them were sweet but 20% of them blew the motor up, cost vs results I would still be streets ahead of your average $1000+ dyno-tuned reflash.

Define "results"? I mean if "results" to you means peak WoT wkw figure then maybe you want a different tuner to someone who wants smooth drivability and longevity at the expense of outright power.

Alright then to restructure that i dont want some ridiculous figures or any wank factor , im spending the money to do the engine right and would like opinions on who would be the best person/people to talk to about having it re flashed . Its going to be a stock setup besides an exhaust and fuel pump . So im after reliabilty and a nice car to drive

What are the limitations with a laptop tunable 4 plug possum link? Can they run antilag? Launch control? Flat shift?

What else do I need to run this ecu correctly? e.g intake sensors? o2?

Am i being a little noobish? Have got my ecu image "merp modded" and have it open in ecuflash. Theres a tick box for "speed density mode", and its set to maf sensor. I'm totally cabbaging, but am i right in assuming that this disables the speed density side of the tune and uses the standard maf sensor tables?

Really dont want to have to go through the nightmare of building ve tables and sd blend tables...

II dunno about goals tbh. I kinda knew when buying it that it probably wasn't going to be a "great" ecu. It was cheap. The engine is a fresh ej207 bottom with ej20k heads. I have ej20g/ej20r manifolds and grey/yellow injectors, A td05 16g 90 degree and 18g front facing, v1 top mount and front mount, fuelpump an exhaust blah blah. Not sure on which combo I want to run. Factory-ish setup so it's legal is what I'll probably try to run.

      Afternoon team,
      im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket. 
      Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.
