What have you done to your car today?

Think it was over tightened or the nut was damaged and forced on. Don't think I've actually had the rear wheels off this car yet so potentially a previous owner.

As for repair... Might get away away with re-tapping. Failing that grinder until I need to take the rotor off in the future and can be bothered haha. It's pretty easy to do wheel studs just search on youtube for diy guide if you're curious, Some say you can do without removing hub on these but I'm not sure on that. Rusted/seized turbo nuts/studs... now that's a job I don't want to do again!

Mrs was watching something tragic so I went to the garage with intention of tidying up, ended up converting car to parallel churrbro. Was trying to work out why it's so lazy on primary, went with the solution of ignoring it and doing something different instead

If nothing else it makes it a hell of a lot quieter

Got all excited to finally do the brake swap, got as far as removing the lug nuts before realising the damn splined adaptor for locking nut has gone walkabouts. Best way to ruin a good day.. :(

Legacy got a silicone intake pipe and a bluetooth head unit, woo

The Mrs's Axela got sold, heading down to pick up her new car on saturday - It's just a wee 2005 Audi A3. Apparently she doesn't need 250hp to commute so my Golf GTi plan got vetoed

Damnit

Decided to drive it Tauranga - Hastings - Return in one hit last night to pick the mrs's car up early. Regretted that - left here at 6:30 and got home at 2am

800km trip, average fuel economy (measured at pump refill) 7.9l / 100km, not bad for a big girl who's coming up 13 years old

Gave the legacy some love since its been a bit neglected and relegated to being left in the driveway for the past few weeks while I drive the mx5 everywhere. New wiper blades and gave it a clean, will give it a bit of a detail tomorrow since it has quite a few tar spots on it.

Took it for a strop for the first time in ages. Got stopped by the Police for a "random" check for the first time ever! Cop was pleasant to deal with, car was all legal tegal so I went on my happy way. As my old man always said "don't fail the attitude test".

Discovered that pre-facelift DAMD steering wheel won't fit a facelift Legacy (not that I knew it already, just wanted to give it a go :/). Anyone wants a D-shaped DAMD for their pre-facelift Leggy?..

Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.

Drove her :) also the other day decided to test out and see if those full 3" redline exhausts are okay. $480.80 delivered for brand new. So will have that on after grad. Few weeks til she gets a 'zaust that doesn't scrape haha

Those exhausts are ok. Cannon mounts on a good angle. Gearbox mount was a mile off. Mid section mount was ok. All hangers lined up

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
