What have you done to your car today?

I moved the extinguisher to the front seat, looks great but the stiff suspension now makes it rattle...need to take a look at making it tighter or stiffening the brackets as it will drive me mad. So time to take the seat out again... at least last time I managed to remove a handful of Cheerio's

Got it back from a friend who had been detailing it for the past 3 days.

finally pick up my ute tomorrow, 05 courier, 4x4 with all the extras, nice ute should keep us happy for awhile

Grinded out the chra today to fit the bigger wheel and gave it a extra polishing, ready for rebuild/balance now off to see Fred this week.

That paint place opposite donnithornes does it (on st asaph? spraystore?) - assuming they're still there anyway. Can give them any colour and they'll chuck it in a can for you, have used them a few times over the years

Pulled my dash out and fixed the broken solder that was causing an intermittent fault with the Speedo. Nice to see it sweep when turned on like it should

Wasn't today, but yesterday, I washed it after work in the car park, as there was a tap readily available there, but not at home since I live in the city and I park on the street around the corner. Went home, got takeaway, the internet is disconnected at the flat I live in, and my girlfriend's away, so I drove back to the work car park and waxed the car too.

took car into magoos today to get cat removed and pipe welded in for WOF got that done took car back in for wof and failed on excessive noise... goddamnit 98 dbs ... anyone used exhasut silencer Tips before?

If it's a proper wof then it'll need to be welded in to pass

Just get a decent muffler, long term it saves the heartache. The exhaust tip things are purely just necking your exhaust down to like 1.5" to shut it up, a proper muffler is a permanent fix without any worry of being caught out (or just putting in a resonator or two in the exhaust)

The tip silencer things work but they are a sh!t way of doing it

Took the RA for a drive. Puts a smile on my face every time! Can't compare the Type R at all (for now).

Have the stock rims (in black) on it for now.

A mate had his V7 WRX tuned / dyno’d and it put out 186 BHP (138 KW) / 1040 NM (on a hub dyno). This seems a bit low to me, but Googled it and sounds about right. Has anyone had a fairly stock V7 / V8 dyno’d? Be interesting to see your results.

Nickchch had his tuned with td04. Who tuned it? Would expect 160-170 ballpark.

Changed brake pads. Brembo pads are so freaking easy to change, love it. But gawd damn they are spency. Also, jacked it up, wondered why there was sooo much travel. Cleaned off some markings on the springs...

Tien lowering springs. F**k i love japanese imports. Also found out my exhaust is a titanium catback number, genuine greddy. Sounds nice, quiet and civil until you get your foot up it

That's what I thought mate. Also has a TD04. Lin - CDM Tauranga tuned it.

I told the guy to expect between 150 & 180, so he was a bit disappointed...
