gtb standard boost

Anybody know wat a 2000 gtb leggy should be boosting at standard

12 ish on first turbo and 14 ish in twin .

Really **** both turbos are only boosting 7 any thoughts??

thats called limp mode .

something is wrong with the car (most likely a sensor is providing the ecu a signal that it is out of range ) and the ecu is letting the engine run the bare minimum ammount of boost

Really what a mision tryna get this car running any ideas on wat sensor this is annoying me alot now

I have checked for cel codes cel just stayed solid therefore no errors correct??

has anyone played with vac hoses . might be missing some restrictors

Na man green aswell heard all the solinoids clicking fans on and off but cel stayed solid not flashing at all car boosts consistant 7 on both turbs but it aint 10-12

That's test mode. Connect just the black ones to read codes.

Not to sure lachlan was gona check them tomorrow r u talking about the pills? U say sensor giving ecu signal out of range any thoughts on wat 1 i should be looking at

Ok, put it back into test mode so all solenoids are pulsing again and fans are cycling. Then check that the ECV (exhaust control valve) and IACV (intake air control valve) are both moving.

ECV actuator, drivers side. Actuator rod should be moving in and out in test mode:

IACV actuator, drivers side just under TMIC should also be moving open/closed in test mode:

Just checked and on the 1st attempt the iacv rod was in and out but ecvs rod didnt turned car off redone it now neither rods are working

It would have run out of stored vac. Run the car for a bit to build it back up.

Just wondering - how is your wastegate connected? Is it being run directly off turbo or are the lines going elsewhere?

Wastegates directly off turbo then teed off onto hose 23 hope that makes sense

Stock boost hose setup. Did you check the ECV and IACV again?

Yea rosssub i let engine run for a while then connected cords the did move in and out but not for very long alsi last nite went out 4 t and bout 20mins into the drive i lost all boost wouldnt rev past 4 grand and wen i changed gear heard a loud moan under the car it sounded like what have i done haha

Are you running an OEM recirc BOV?
