Turbo trouble

Hey my 95 gt legacy is not boosting the boost gauge sits on zero but when the second turbo kicks in at 5000rpm it goes up to 10psi and doesn't go over that what can be the cause of this any help???

Whip primary turbo off and check your wheels look like wheels.

Cheers mate I done my codes this morning and come with 22&66 are they hard to fix???

Think 22 is knock sensor?

66 is a bit of a pain. Its a pretty vague code.

Is 66 hard to fix what one should I do first

The code 22-Knock Sensor, check the loom plug out but is most likely a stuffed sensor, so will need replacing.

The code 66-Sequential Turbo System, with no primary boost is most likely a stuffed primary turbo. As above whip the DP off and check it out.

Ok cheers it feels like is boosting but not showing on boost gauge will have to look in to that cheers

Where is the boost gauge T'd in?

Practically every line coming off the intake has positive pressure running through it, you may need to be more specific...

if the primary was blown then the secondary would blow boost back out it and you would get no boost .

Would it tho? Tiny turbo prob still get 10psi with a primary exhaust leak. If it has a wastegate on primary check that. Might be comp fckd then wouldnt effect sec would it?

guy's probably just got his gauge hooked up to the nipple on the secondary

op guy; does your gauge read vac at all?

"sits on zero" makes me think you've got it hooked into an area that's only positive pressure, no vac.. i.e. between the turbo and wastegate

We're is memento hook up to Iv having trouble with boost problem now will boost then all off a sudden will just cut boost out what you're thorts team

maybe your gauge is ****ed causing a giant massive ass wank off boost leak lol

does it even idle properly

It a brand new gauge and yea sits between 1000rpm our 2000rpm

if the primary isnt making boost then any boost the secondary made would go backwards out the primary comp wheel into the air intake

it is impossible for the the secondary turbo to solely boost the engine

He means 1st turbo reads 0 on boost guage 2nd kicks in jumps to 10

1st turbo u can feel but isnt that strong

Sounds like the gauge isn't connected to where it should be. Note the size of the turbo... you shouldn't be expecting too much from it lol

Any one have a photo our a dyagram of were the boost line should go I'm not a car whizz more of a bike whizz

Can any one tell me why sometimes my car will boost and sometimes it won't boost and it will just cut boost out and check engine light comes on
