Syms 4-2-1 Header able to have EWG setup?

Does anyone know if a EWG can be made to fit these? Most likely on a V7 STI.

Yes all you need to do is blow hole in the tube and weld in a flange. Best place would be directly under the turbo where the secondaries collect then try make it fit somewhere under the dp. Then enjoy getting it off and capping it every wof.

Or just take the flange off any runner you will still get the noise you want.

ill have it setup interal with a flange where its easy to get to and when i get sick of it, it'll be a piece of piss to change. AND seeing as i have these headers sitting in my garage i can get things organised. just didnt know if it would fit or work.. cheers

Yes it is possible. As evowrx said - right under the turbo is the best place. The set of SYMS I sold to the wellington rep a while ago had a wastegate port welded in that spot. Prob have some photos somewhere. I'll be doing it to my current set at some point aswell

Well you will need to fit it around steering linkage but ultimately it is possible. Might be easier to pipe it off there and mount gate low.

why not t/s it? no need for cert, same sound, better response....

because i would need a twin scroll sump etc, and turbo which i just cant be bothered with at the moment, im only a student.... Just making do with the best i can afford.

fair call. if its going on a v7, you'll get much more bang for buck out of a decent tune... but good luck with the ewg

And yeah, EWG is fully sick because when people hear it go RAAAATCH they will think you have a hektik race car instead of a pretty much standard one with a hole in the exhaust. They will be utterly convinced of your cars awesomeness and you will get multiple moist sluts that want to get intimate with you, immediately.

Its possible to weld a wastegate flange onto almost any exhaust manifold.

Iv allready got these headers sitting in my garage and I will have it flanged to run internal. And I won't equal length headers.... and I can't afford a t.s setup

iv been told that you can lose HP if you dont plumb the dump pipe back in?
