Need advice on Garages in Welly

Hey guys,

I just got back into the country and my 98 Sti Type R shat itself almost immediately.

I'm looking for advice on people to do the work on it. So far I'm down to Bristols in upper hutt and Paul in whitemans valley so any feedback on either would be great. Also if anyone knows how to get hold of Alistar Maclennan PM me.

I'm keen to just do a straight swap and then but some time and energy into rebuilding a race engine with the old one, so any ideas on who's got something good to bolt in now is also appreciated.

If you're in Upper Hutt and looking for someone local, then you can contact Rick Wheeler, who is well known in these parts for quality work who knows his stuff. He works from home though, and isn't part of a workshop, so don't know if that's important to you or not.

Yep, either go to rick wheeler or al at macbilt. Hands down the best in welly IMO. Both extremely knowledgeable, and have done some very nice builds

I went to Ray Hartley in town recently and felt like they knew their scoobys, quality work at decent price in my case.

Also another golden recommendation for Rick Wheeler, this guys knowledge is amazing

I also visit Motor Doctors in JVille for general servicing, they've always been straight up and will tell me before they do anything and will also let me know if I can get something done somewhere else for cheaper...great guys.
