BBOD Converted to Version 6/Link G4 Solenoid Control Box.

This is my BH5B Twin Turbo, Solenoid Control Box/BBOD.

I\'ve removed all Screws that hold the Sensors in place:

Unbolted 2 last Sensors then removed the Internals, leaving the MAP Sensor installed:

I find it easiest, when removing Vac Hoses, to grip the Hose over the Nipple with Pliers. then twist the Hose, breaking the Seal.

Then they pull off fairly easy:

I\'ve left the Map Sensor in, then refitted the ECV Solenoid for my new Boost Controller:

I\'ve T\'d a Boost Gauge hose into the MAP Sensor Line. Then Refitted the Hose #12 Vacuum Feed/One Way Valve, to feed the Vac Tank if needed.

Then routed everything to the OEM BBOD Vac Ports. My new Single Turbo Solenoid Control Box ready to install:

Then installed a 3 Port Solenoid into the Top Vac Ports, for easy changeover later on:

I have 6 Spare Vac Solenoids, Mountains of Vac Hose and Multiple Vac T\'s and Junctions.

Eventually I\'ll fit my Electronic Boost Gauge Sensor in, when removing one of the Boost Solenoids. Also fit Boost Sensor connected to my Turbo Timer, ending up with no Vac Hoses through the Firewall and all Sensors/Solenoids tucked neatly away.

i mean if i just use the map and evc with my link ill be fine?.. on the evc one end to waste gate and one to turbo?, and the map just piped with vac line to the mani?

Map straight to Manifold.

ECV - Is the Exhaust Control Valve Solenoid. Identical to the TT\'s Primary Boost Solenoid in the F/L Guard.

I\'d planned to use this 2 Port OEM Boost Solenoid while running the Version 6 STI ECU. Boost Control Hoses will be set up identical to OEM, one hose T\'d off Turbo/Waste Gate Line, the other hose Bleeding back to Intake.

3 Port Solenoids run one hose from Turbo to Solenoid, then one hose from Solenoid to Turbo. Bleeding out the 3rd Port.

Read up on \'Open Loop\' and \'Closed Loop\' Boost Control.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
