DSR - ordered a v band around 3.30pm yesterday no contact but had it 7am this morning. Good sh#t. Same with STA bits but theyre always on their game.

Heh Scarles. I bought my FMIC kit from them, over half the hose clamps were the wrong size which is a bit of a **** when you are installing it 50kms away. Also fitment and machining was pretty bad, but then I guess that's what you get for a $500 TT kit.

So you expected a good quality, cheap and easy to install front mount intercooler kit to fit your twin turbo? lol

It's annoying when you are 50kms away, have the car in pieces and 6 or 7 hose clamps won't go tight enough to put the thing back together. It's a Scarles kit so including the right clamps isn't rocket science.

In regards to the kit quality, like i said "I guess that's what you get for $500 TT kit". It was quite a while ago now and I have it all together but did end up buying some longer joiners to make the fitment better.

How much is an intercooler kit supposed to cost?

It's some bent pipes and a generic intercooler

They sell a dedicated tt fmic iirc.

Kinda.. The scarles kit you bought is made in china and packaged there, poor quality and no qualtiy control means you get what ever is in the box and thats it, Scarles will and do sell anything(well anything that might sell like any business!) but you knew that aye.

Its up to you to decide if its worth buying or not.

Heres the best place i found to buy them, Just looking back on paypal transactions and cost plus shipping was under $400nzd.

I bought the X01.. it fits the space in the v5-v6 bumper nicely and 100mm thick.

Mint - will be going on my v4 with v5/6 front end

Actually I only bought the piping from them and that was $350. The intercooler was from somewhere else, nothing wrong with the intercooler.

Still waiting keep getting promises of a call back which I never get. Getting sick of ringing up pretty **** all round really.

Had a ring yesterday gate had turned up there but the 180deg stainless 38mm bend I also ordered was out of stock as well. Kind of had to laugh like seriously wtf. Allgood tho he sent me 2x 90deg instead and a free straight so couldnt complain to bitterly. Gate came this morning with flanges and came thro dodsons so will be genuine item. Still unsure why it took a week to get across aucks tho?

15% discount next time should combine that with the discount from the last f up anyone want a cheap gate? might have to wait a while tho lol.

All sorted now anyways just need to book fab lad to get it all on now.

Ordered a $5 gasket off their website last night as no one else in nz does it. Turned up this afternoon on courier post.
