Strut brace - any point?

My car came with a rear strut brace, but none on the front. Very minor marks in the paint suggest that there was one at some point lol

Is it worth getting one? Would I notice a difference?

you won't notice the front brace, i've run two different front braces and also no brace and have a rear brace, i have a front brace purely for looks as i have the rear and centre brace

well i have put bracing all thru my car and have noticed every one.

i spose it could be a km thing or how hard you drive your car as to how much the chasis flexes

rear brace is noticeable the instant you put it in.

front is noticeable if you take the car for a hard drive before and after removal / install.

round town, not so noticeable.

they wouldn't use them if they didnt work lol it would be added weight an cost, so obviously they work

i noticed it stright away when taken the front one out, noticed more change with under body... was way better when i put the room bar ( B-piller brace ) i kinda hate the way my car handles now its stepping out/over steering on me a lot of time

Rear strut brace is best upgrade iv made on gf8 so far. Front strut brace also very good, car holds much better in corners and generally stiffens chassis so less road noise etc

Firenza had front, under body and rear strut bracing, i must say that thing handles fucking well on corners when he goes round them!

i know front makes a difference left on side little lose and can see from marks from the bolt head how much it can move

The front made a small difference on my wagon... The rear made a huge difference

On early Imprezas/Forries it's a different matter as they only have about half the torsional rigidity of newer cars.

Any difference between the full loops or the half loops, Where they bolt on?

I'd think the full loop brackets would be stronger

Im voting the full loops too. Any factory STi rear strut braces that match? Keen to beef the handling up a little

My need to go brand new. i know cusco sell a 3 point brace, they are $120 or there abouts

Il just hold out until I find one mate ;D What do you think of the white line performance handling, Seen some videos of them on Subaru's seems to make a decent amount of a difference.

Well its all pretty much the same stuff.

My flatmate (Firenza on here) has a v3 sti, with a carbonfibre sti strut brace, whiteline underbody brace and a 2 point cusco rear brace and it handle amazingly!

Oh Im so keen to get them!

Its an STi rear brace, cusco ones are blue According to the STi option book, they didnt do a carbon rear brace, just the alloy one.

In the front what would the differences be between an alloy brace and the carbon STi brace?

ones bling, the other is blingier
