Hello, I was looking over a potential 04 WRX and had a look in both the coolant reservoirs/overflow tanks, although the coolant itself looked perfectly healthy there was a bit of a rusty looking substance around the sides of the container and on the cap on the reservoir above the turbo. Hello, I have found varying responses regarding what year Subaru thickened the WRX (not STI) transmission, I am looking at a 2004 WRX however I checked the VIN and found it was manufactured in 2003 so I want to know if it would likely have the thickened transmission? Also are the WRX's trannys really as bad as people make them out to be? Cheers, SubWub
