long story but ill just sum it up. Yeap ive dealt with him before i recommend DONT. the owner is a nice guy name david he explains every step/diagnosis that he will do to your turbo. but i had to go through so much drama and hassle could got myself a new garret turbo.
nah seat was install with wastegate.. gotta remove the turbo and check it out. worst comes to worst anyone how much steve murch charge to rebuild a vf22? if its $500+ might aswell get a td05 18g/20g instead of rebuilding
recently found out the turbo doesnt even boost at all(sometimes). cut off the bend of the nipple, still laggy didnt make any differents. must be the turbo is goners
Having trouble straightening the turbo nipple, hand saw not working too well. bought a nipple cutter for 15dollars from bunning but doesnt have enough room to fit. any other idea guys?
spoke to alex at highbrook automotive. told me not to tee the map sensor and boost sensor. just run manifold to map sensor. also found out my turbo nipple its bend, so im assuming its restricting pressure out of the nipple? this why its not allowing boost upto 20 smoothly.
pic of the nipple
