  1. Hey guys, the times come around for my first time servicing my 04' WRX (currently done 163,000km). Because it's my first time servicing her, are there any recommendations from you guys on oil brands or grade? Looking at the service history, up until the last service it the oil was replaced with 5W-30, and the last being 10W-40. Cheers.
  2. That sucks man sorry to hear. Will keep an eye out around Manawatu way, it's a fair distance away but you never know.
  3. I'll have a go after uni. I armed it last night then reached in the cabin and the alarm didn't go off at all so my best bet is that it's the glass break sensor.
  4. Cheers mate. I'm guessing it helps if you leave a window open and someone reaches in it triggers the alarm or something along those lines?
  5. Been meaning to post this for awhile, does anyone know what this is?
  6. Cold start this morning and car was fine hopefully it doesn't do it again
  7. Cheers lads. Hasn't happened since this morning but will see how it is in the coming days
  8. Around 50,000km ago I think, will have to look to be sure.
  9. Today when I started my car it kind of struggled to start for a brief moment, then when it started it started making a knocking noise . So I turned it off asap after it had been running for ten-ish seconds with my head in my hands thinking the worst, then I started it again and it was gone . What could be the issue there? Ironically I checked oil and water yesterday and it was fine.
  10. Update on the situation. The local Subaru dealership were going to charge me $646.00 for the new sensor plus $94.00 an hour for labour. But thanks to you guys I'm going to buy from Partsouq for $256.72 NZD and going to replace myself. Saving a crapton of money!
  11. Cheers guys, i'll look into it
  12. Sweet man. I'll chuck up an intro now Nah they never gave a part number just the code and that a new air fuel ratio sensor was needed.
  13. Hey guys. Sorry it's my first time posting here and i'm unsure whether or not I am posting in the correct place. I have a 2004 Wrx Hatchback and a few days ago my check engine light came on so I took it to the dealer and they came back with the code POO31 and they said that the air fuel ratrio sensor was faulty and needed replacing. They are saying the new sensor was going to cost $646. I was just wondering if anyone knew where I could get a new sensor myself? Cheers.
