You can use this app to test any Android device to see if it supports USB OTG (USB on the go). https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.btssm.doihaveotg It did say that my device is supported when it actually isn't but I think that the feature is there, only disabled by Sprint.

No problem. I was a bit bummed when I went to try it myself only to find out my particular version of the Samsung Galaxy S2 doesn't support USB OTG, though it is supposed to and seems to if it's the S2 that was sold by any other cellular carrier. I guess it's time for a new phone

Another option for logging is this recent Android application: http://www.btssm.com/ The developer sells a cable, but if your phone is compatible, you can also use a Tactrix Openport 2.0 with a USB OTG cable (which cost just a couple dollars). -Mike Tactrix

I know this thread is a little old but in case anyone is still interested, we're planning on coming out with a Mac compatible release of EcuFlash this year. If you send us an email to support at tactrix dot com I can put you on the beta tester list for when we're nearing release of that. I haven't seen his tunes myself (and I'm not a professional tuner, so I can't judge) but I've had a number of customers say good things about his services, including people in the UK and the USA.
