  1. Hey folks. finally giving my girl the needed upgrades and changing to a walbro fuel pump. Now this is a slightly confusing area for me as there does appear to be two options to suit my 95 rex the GSS341 and GSS342. Does anyone know of any differences between these models or are they both as equally suited to my vehicle?
  2. What size (in LPH) fuel pump am i currently running in my 95 WRX? I was told it maxes at 300hp-ish and I'm looking to buy a larger walbro one, need to know what size to get for larger hp applications. I'm wanting at least 350hp or 260kw by the time I'm finished. Just planning my future upgrades.
  3. Im currently having a ball, Attempting to dismantle the back seats to get a rear strut brace in and every single bolt has been cross threaded. I swear every one ive tried to take off of this car has been stripped. Goodness knows what idiots owned this thing before.
  4. Wow 20 coats of primer? that would have almost doubled the weight of the car! Fair enough, from one painter to another.. Good luck!
  5. Ive had a bit of experience with spraying/panel repair and the great thing to remember is you cant really get it wrong. Should you stuff it up which you probably will on a first attempt, simply allow to dry and either spray over or sand back if its really messy and have another try. Make sure if you're doing the whole panel that you sand back well and apply a couple layers of primer which can be bought an any repco/supercheap auto, this will provide a good base for your top coat- Which you just about always need a clearcoat for. Dont believe any of the 'no clear coat needed' rubbish on the side of cans. A truely professional finish cannot be achieved without it. Once you're happy with the clear coat start buffing with a light abrasion polish and work it into a real shine.
  6. I am STILL waiting for the overnight delivery of my steering wheel which i ordered and was supposedly posted on friday... I can see some bad feedback being placed at this rate.
  7. Not smart. In future, Heat it up using a heat gun. Most paints arn't really flexable and tend to break when under pressure. Fixing paint cracks isnt a huge issue though, personally id spot spray it. Provided you can source the colour, a simple light sand, spray and buff should bring her up nice. If the whole guard needs a respray i can talk you through doing it yourself, which i would recommend considering most shops would want about $500 for that.
  8. Changed some old Vacuum hose with fresh blue ones. Gave her a good clean in and out Changing that crappy intercooler for a v7 one this w.e
  9. Ok dumb question heading your way.. How the hell do you upload pics? Ive tried and tried and i get either 'pic is too large' error, Or 'URL invalid' Ive tried using image hosting sites to resize and still no go.. am i missing something very simple here?
  10. Should start a new thread 'Best rage quits' and post some of em up
  11. Nothing's achieved by getting shi**y, raging is for kids lol.
  12. I suppose you're right Tim. Yes well, they replaced my air flow meter when they rebuit the damn thing but to no avail, after swapping the ecu with a tester one, they concluded it was the ecu but im unsure. Ultimately i'm like who gives a s***, i have a brand new G3 waiting to be fitted by Jase, So meh..
  13. As for the fuel cut thing, im pretty sure its a faulse reading AIT or w/e, because it only happens when the temperature drops outside.
