  1. After getting Max. over too we just could not get it to come apart. Towed it to the garage up the road and they got it apart this morning. The input shaft rusted into the spigot bearing but is all sorted now. Thanks for your input guys
  2. I had this. The problem with the gc8 slave is that when its on the box the bleed screw is not the highest point. Remove the back bolt holding the slave and lift it forward when bleeding to get all of the air out. When I did that it fixed the problem
  3. Still completely stuck. removed the two lower studs from the engine so now the only thing between the box and the motor is the shaft but it just won't let go. Completely at a loss as what to do now????
  4. Can't see anything in there. Pushed the release bearing all the way to the clutch so fingers crossed this was the problem?
  5. So you think its the release bearing that has slipped down the shaft and golding the box in the clutch?
  6. Hey guys, Trying to drop my box and have everything unbolted and off of it but it just won't come apart. There is a large gap all around the bell housing but it just won't slide off the input shaft. Anyone have any tips/tricks? I have tried jacking it up/down, wiggling side to side, forcing it apart at the bell housing but it WILL NOT let go. Driving me completely nuts. Any input would be much appreciated Scoob
  7. In my v4 type r I leave it all the way open (dial all the way back). Over steer is fun!
  8. Have purchased the d1 racing one so when I finally get my car back together I'll let everyone know how it gets on
  9. Great to hear! There's no way I would give my car a harder time than a race car
  10. Only reason I have to change is there are hair line fractures all through my stock one! So need to change to something. Thought if I have to change then may as well go to a lightened jobby but I'm not keen on spending 500+ when I could be spending that in other more needed areas. The car is just a toy so no commuting what so ever. Haven't even driven it this year
  11. Will have a look there. What about this one? or stay away from them? http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-accessories/mitsubishi/clutches/auction-900031921.htm
  12. $569 quoted by Paul with the clubsub discount. Might just try find a good stock one..
  13. What is it like to drive? What's the difference etc?
