I dont want to have to tune my car because i stock ecu i cant afford a link plus lol

Hi all looking at upgrading the turbo on my wrx but not sure how to go about it my car is standard (stock internals and sta has done 10kun engine and gearbox rebuild car is stock apart from 3" turbo back exaust and a computer chip (14.5psi no speedcut) anyway i have a few questions. Will i need to change anything else when i change turbo or should i? Is a td05 with a 20g wheel to big for my car and will i have to change anything? What are the 18g turbos like compared to the 20s also what are the subaru td05s like

The chip removes speed and boost cut.. Will my turbo be good enough for 14.5psi or will i need to upvrade it also will i need to upgrade anything else

Looking at an ecu chip is 1bar 14.5psi too much for a completely stock wrx v1 or is it too much im currently running 12psi
