    what would happen

what was it jase I'm getting same issue
  2. awsome thank you very much for all your help and information i will be doing it in the next couple of days so will definatly update you on it thanks very much
  3. Ok so let me just confirm this i can just pull the engine from the 98 gt and drop it streight into the 2000 b4 as it is without changing anything and then just swap the 2000 b4 ecu for the 98 gt ecu and it will run with no problems
  4. I can keep the b4 loom and just put the 98 gt ecu in will just need to change the plug pinout or will it just swap streight over. i have done ecu pinout changes before so its not a big deal just takes time and patience
  5. so would need to do a ecu swap and keep the engine from the 98 as it is with no manifold swap over
  6. what would happen if i did do the swap if its just different compression ratio
  7. ok both engines are in the cars and looking at them bothe they have the same inlet manifolds etc. What im trying to do is take the 98 engine and put it in the 2000 b4. My plan is to take all the inlet manifolds of and the loom that runs under it on the 98 engine and put the 2000 b4 inlet manifold and loom on to it. so basicaly use the 98 block and heads with all the parts from the 2000 b4 engine
  8. Hello all could somone tell me please whats the difference between 2 engines. The first is a 1998 legacy gt twin turbo. And the the second one is a year 2000 b4 twin turbo. thanks very much
