  1. I have spoken to Autoline but they can't find details, so I'll probably have to wait for the car to arrive and measure up from there.
  2. I received a quote from PBM today for factory sti rotors and pads for slightly over $12k......so that's not really an option!
  3. cheers, I've have a good talk to my friend at autostop and at autoline (agents for race brembo nz) and they can't find any info. I was wanting to try and find as much info before the car arrives in the country as i don't want it getting held up at the compliance center waiting for parts. Hopefully it passes without me needing to replace them, but from my experience they almost always get you to replace them on new imports.
  4. Not exactly sure what i'll be needing yet, but it's likely i will need to replace all 4 rotors and brake pads
  5. Yes, fronts are the same 6 pots with 2 part disks as a spec c ra-r but the ra-r runs 2 pot on the rear and my one runs 4 pots on the rear. See this link for photos; http://www.autoblog.com/2010/01/07/subaru-impreza-wrx-sti-r205-continues-the-tradition-still-not-c/#slide-312855
  6. I need to confirm the factory part numbers and Brembo stock replacement for my new Subaru. The model is a special one that is known as a R205 (only 400 produced) and from factory it has 6 pot brembos with 2 piece rotors and the rears run 4 pot calipers. I am struggling to find much info on these and part numbers etc. I am pretty sure that the fronts are a 355x32 and the rears are a 345x28 but I don't know for sure. If anyone can help with pricing of these replacement parts and info it would be greatly appreciated?
  7. I found this really cool web site with all the legacy brochures and fliers from back in the early 90's http://a15ff11300g.sakura.ne.jp/catalogue/BCBFlegacy/BCBFlegacy.html Someone might fine it useful for restoring there RSRA or special model to the original specifications.
  8. I cleared the fault and it has made no difference ???
  9. I have checked the wheel bearing and it appears to be nice and tight. I also checked both serfaces (hub and sensor) for dirt and they both looked good. Yesterday I tried replacing the ABC ECU and it made no difference, could it be the main unit under the bonnet that is causing all the trouble?
  10. I have an annoying problem with my ABS in my 1992 Legacy BF GT. The dash warning light comes on after the first few times you brake and stays on. I have tested the ABS and it doesn\'t seem to be working as the wheels lock up under heavy braking. Firstly I tried cleaning all the sensors and it made no difference, then I replaced all them with another set and still no difference. I then looked on the forum and found out about the light on the ecu and the fault codes etc. It was saying there is a fault with the R/R sensor which I have since checked and changed it again and this time I also checked and cleaned the hub ring and the ecu is still saying the same thing. Can anyone help with what might be at fault, would it be the ecu or the main control unit in the engine bay?
  11. Thanks for your help, I really hope it works as I have just brought a nice set. Some people tell me that you have to run camber bolts in the rear and others say that the rear shocks won\'t fit, so I am a little confused ??? Have you tried fitting them to a 1 gen legacy before?
  12. Just wondering if anyone knows if V7/V8 STi shocks will fit in a 92 bf legacy wagon?
  13. Does anyone know if I am able to run a factory STI ECU when I convert my 2002 GTB Legacy to single turbo, I am aware that if it\'s possable there will be some wiring will need to be altered. Does anyone know exactly what\'s involved?
