  1. [quote name='Timmah said: Seconded. Thirded... that's not a word.... I've got these on the GRB and I'm very impressed. I had Dunlop DZ101's before that, couldn't stand them. Grip was very limited. Turn in was horrid and front used to wash out at low speeds. On the GF8 I had Kingstars (Made for an interesting drive to work) Bridgestone RE001s, RE002s and Toyo Proxes T1 The T1's weren't as good as the Bridgestone RE002's (IMO). They didn't seem to want turn in and grip and well as the Bridgestones did. A mate has Nitto Invo's on his Spec C GRB and he reckons theyre really good. However they are expensive.
  2. I haven't been on here for a while. I'm really gutted to see any new posting in Stolen. I hate that anyone has to go through that feeling. I will keep my eyes peeled and be sure to post/inform/call anyone and everyone if I need. ADIKT sorry to hear you had to go through this. I complained just the other day at the fact my phone goes off as soon as my alarm goes off. Especially considering if I walk near my car with my keys on me the alarm will go off. I am now going to shut the hell up as it's an indication that my AVS gps system is working and functional.
  3. Hmmmm. I used to live in Mt Wellington....
  4. It depends on what you're happy with Angie. Reality is what can you put up with. I can personally vouch for Rapid Radio. They are professional and don't mess around. The fix (band expander) will give you extra capability for your radio, which will allow you the usage of the camera and the radio. If you have managed to get around using the Strada in Japanese and don't mind it. Keep it. I have a Eclipse head unit in my car. I was intending on getting a Kenwood double din unit but realised that I actually quite like the hard drive in my unit. I was able to figure out most of the buttons for the DVD player/hard drive/and the vehicle log inputs. While it was annoying initially it was nice to be able to make use of the installed head unit. the biggest thing you have to assess is what you actually want and how much you want to spend. In order to get a decent double din screen head unit in NZ it's not cheap. If you want to keep all the functions on your Strada e.g. Bluetooth/DVD/Reversing Camera/iPod you'll need to find a head unit with all those capabilities and get the camera rewired unless you can find someone on here that has the knowhow and most importantly time to rewire/install for you. Either way it won't be a cheap option to buy a new head unit. There are multiple solutions to this.
  5. So have been wanting to do this after seeing a few posts... These are night photos on a smart phone as they were spur of the moment.... Old: New:
  6. Hey evowrx, I decided to start a Garage for my new car. I should have done this for my other car so I didn't have to go searching for pictures... oh well. http://clubsub.org.nz/forum/showthread.php?45735-Replacement-Hatch-2008-STI-Hatch Cheers

  8. To be honest it's gone. I have succumbed to that reality. That, and now that I have a GRB its a little easier, and I'm still driving a Subaru. But this is more so to try and catch out the scum that took it. So it doesnt happen to someone else. Will get the pics I have posted up soon. will have to resize/search photo posting on the forums... when I have some time. Problem is that I only have a few as the rest were on the phone in the car.
  9. I know it's late but xmas/new year and getting sorted for twins arriving has been pretty hectic. My wonderful little wagon was stolen from Epsom on the 14-15th of December 2014. 2000 (MY99) Version 6 Subaru WRX Impreza (Dark Blue) Rego: EYW685 It had an alarm immobiliser, glass break sensors etc. I spent a fair amount of time and effort on this car. It had a EJ207 block from Winger, Gold Enkei RPF1's with Centre caps, and near new Bridgestone RE002's, Prorack X2 roof racks, Thule Tour Bike Rack, Carbon Fibre WRC Shorty Top Aerial, Panasonic Head Unit, CQC9801W and Pioneer 6" components in the front with 4" Pioneer 2 way rears, Nardi Gearknob, V7 Short Shift Kit (Chrome and Blue Alloy), Momo Pedal Set. I had a Casio G shock MR-G Titanium Watch and Nokia Lumia 820 Phone in the glove box. Baby seat in the back which was a Fisher Price one with red and grey/black trim and a Edinburgh booster seat for our older child. Best Bars Tow Bar with detachable tongue. I still have the tongue. In the boot was a pram City (something) and baby bag. I will ask the wife the brand and specs, and update later. If you have seen any of this gear please contact me on here or alternatively the Police. Report Reference Number: 141215/1783
